Judi Marcin, MD, MFA
Associate Dean of Clinical Education, Vancouver Campus
Dr. Marcin joined the WSU Elson S Floyd College of Medicine in February 2020, excited to embrace the unique opportunity of having a role in growing a burgeoning medical college. Having attended medical school and residency in rural Illinois, she holds a particular interest in the inclusive care of rural, underserved and marginalized populations, along with a deep appreciation for community based medical education.
With her background in creative writing and the humanities, she prioritizes exploring the connections between the sciences and the arts.
In being a medical educator for nearly 20 years, she has learned the importance of fostering compassion, empathy and creative problem solving within our future health care providers.
