Lisa Burch-Windrem joined the Student Affairs department at WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in November 2017. In her role as Assistant Dean of Student Affairs, Lisa serves as the department lead for services, programs, and student support, and lends daily leadership to Student Affairs team members.

Dedicated to positive student experiences, Lisa is a passionate student affairs professional with over 20 years of experience serving college students at private liberal arts institutions and public universities. Lisa is a first generation college graduate and finds it a complete joy to help all students achieve their personal and educational goals as they navigate their journey to becoming medical leaders.

Through all her professional positions and volunteer opportunities, Lisa has strived to be a motivated student-centered leader who portrays understanding, commitment, efficiency, flexibility, resourcefulness, and innovation in all she does.
