Health and Fitness Clinic
Community members are invited to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis for the NEP Health and Fitness Clinic. Students in their senior year of the BS NEP program offer one-on-one exercise coaching and nutrition counseling.
Under the supervision of faculty, students complete thorough health screenings along with comprehensive diet and fitness assessments to help individuals take steps to reduce risk factors for chronic disease, such as diabetes, cancer, and heart disease.
Activities include group exercise sessions, one-on-one coaching, and education.

- Appropriate for all levels of fitness
- Improve aerobic health, muscular strength, and flexibility
- Learn to exercise safely
One-on-One Wellness Coaching
- Individualized exercise monitoring
- Nutrition counseling and exercise prescription
- Learn about nutrition and exercise recommendations
- Learn about risk factors for chronic disease

The Department of Nutrition and Exercise Physiology maintains over 5,000 sq. ft. of research space containing state-of-the-art equipment for conducting human nutrition and activity-based studies. Information about these facilities and a brief description of available equipment can be found here.
