Students are involved as active participants in the care of patients and are integrated into the WSU Internal Medicine Residency Program \u2013 Everett.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Structure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will work under the direct supervision of attending hospitalist physicians as part of an academic team with direct supervision provided by a hospitalist attending, and residents from the Internal Medicine Residency Program \u2013 Everett. PRMCE is a 580-bed referral center for the five surrounding Washington state counties of Snohomish, Island, San Juan, Skagit and Whatcom. Clinical services include all relevant adult health care services except for organ transplant. The only&nbsp;exception to this is if your university is affiliated with a US medical school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fourth-year medical students interested in applying for a&nbsp;sub-internship opportunity at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with Washington State University Internal Medicine Residency Program may complete an application. To apply you must be an active, fourth-year medical student in good standing by July 1, 2025.
