Floyd College of Medicine offers a variety of comprehensive benefits to eligible trainees and their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following information is intended to be a brief summary of these benefits. In addition, residents receive 5 PTA days to be used for unplanned absences including sick time. PTA cannot be \u201ccarried over\u201d from one year to the next. Each program will inform its trainees of the specialty board regulation on leave and Board eligibility. All PTA requests must be approved by the program director prior to usage. Additional PTA available for approved medical, parental, or caregiver leave.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Professional and Education Leave<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wsu-spacing-after--large\">Programs will define and allocate professional and educational leave per year, in addition to PTA.
