There\u2019s a reason the unofficial slogan for the WSU Pullman campus is \u201cWe always find our way back home.\u201d Once you\u2019ve been to Pullman, you take advantage of any opportunity to return.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whether you will be returning to Pullman or living here for the first time, you\u2019ll find yourself feeling at home right away. In this familial atmosphere, residents are embraced by the faculty, medical staff, and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the coolest things about working in Pullman is just how excited the community is to have a residency program and how gracious everyone has been. My patient interactions have been enriching and although I am just getting started with building my patient panel, I feel like I am already starting to build some gratifying physician-patient relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life in the Family Medicine Residency Center<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Attached to the clinic space is the primary residency space. Here houses the faculty offices, Program Coordinator office, Break-Room (full sized fridge), restroom, resident offices, and the Team Room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Resident has their own work station with dual monitor desktop computer and optional dictation device. Lockers for storage are located adjacent to the work station with the wellness room right around the corner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Team Room is a large workroom where precepting, clinic-team morning huddles, and academic half-day occurs. Each station is set up with dual monitors to aid in efficient charting. The room is equipped with a large smart board and recording equipment. This really is the heart of the Residency Center.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n
