Plastic Surgery, Mayo Clinic – Minnesota
Originally from Minnesota, I attended the University of Minnesota for my undergraduate degrees in Cell Biology, Genetics, Development and Spanish Studies. My passion for travel and understanding new cultures led me to Ecuador where I spent a year teaching science to grades 6-12. I then moved to Seattle, WA where I spent 2 years conducting cancer research and began medical school at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine!
I am fortunate to have met such wonderful teachers and peers across the state throughout my training. Particularly, the outstanding mentorship I have received in my chosen field of medicine,” says Willborg.
Hopes & Aspirations
I am excited to begin my surgical training and continue learning from innovative and inspiring teachers! I aspire to practice as an academic surgeon, advancing surgical care for patients and educating future trainees.
