Plastic Surgery, Loma Linda University
I am incredibly proud and excited to soon be graduating from the WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine. I grew up just outside Maple Valley, WA with my older brother, mom, and dad. I was the first person in my family to pursue a college education, and graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology. After college I took two years off to work, study, volunteer, and travel. I was lucky enough to be able to stay in Washington state for medical school at WSU, which I’ve loved. Throughout med school, I’ve been able to work hard while also keeping up with my hobbies (mainly running, spending time with friends, cooking, and traveling). I am in awe that our four years is coming to a close so quickly. I am forever grateful to my family and my mentors for guiding me through this journey. I would not have been able to achieve so much without their unwavering support!
