Internal Medicine, Virginia Mason Medical Center
I was born and raised in Seattle and completed an Associate of Science degree from North Seattle College while in high school before receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology at the University of Washington. I came to be interested in medicine due to several family experiences with the healthcare system including working as a Home Care Aide taking care of my grandfather for the last few years of his life. I also worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a rehabilitation and long-term care facility during my gap year.
I feel so privileged to have had this opportunity to learn medicine surrounded by amazing instructors, preceptors, patients, and peers,” says Bhardwaj.
These four years have been extremely rewarding. My current goal is to practice as a primary care physician in Washington State. I hope to use my Internal Medicine training to be a thorough and caring physician who focuses on preventative health and complex medical care.
