Pediatrics, University of Washington

About Me

I grew up in Federal Way, Washington, and attended undergraduate at Gonzaga University where I earned a BS in Biology with a concentration in research. While at Gonzaga, I joined a research lab at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine studying Autism and sleep disorders on the Autism Spectrum. I continued to work on this research project throughout medical school. Ever since my acceptance to medical school, I have planned to train in Pediatrics. Motivated by personal family history, my research projects, and my experiences on the pediatrics wards, my goal to be a pediatrician has remained steadfast. I cannot express how excited I am to match into the field of pediatrics!

My medical school journey

“The path from dreams to success does exist. May you have the vision to find it, the courage to get on to it, and the perseverance to follow it.” — Kalpana Chawla

Hopes & Aspirations

Following pediatric residency, I will most likely pursue a fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics or Neonatology. After training, my Fiancé and I both hope to return and practice in our respective fields in the Great Pacific Northwest.
