Jackson King

Otolaryngology, University of California Davis Medical Center

About Me

I was born in Spokane, WA but shortly thereafter moved about an hour north to the rural town of Colville, WA where I lived through High School. Growing up in a small town, I spent a lot of time outdoors and had the chance to enjoy the Pacific Northwest with hiking, camping, swimming, and snowboarding. I also was very active in sports as a kid and played golf and basketball competitively throughout High School.

When the opportunity arose to be a part of the inaugural class at WSU and complete my medical education near my home, I jumped at the opportunity and am incredibly happy I did,” says King.

It has provided me with many unique opportunities that I could not find elsewhere. Along the way, I developed a keen interest in otolaryngology and am very happy to have matched into the field.

Hopes & Aspirations

I aim to provide comprehensive otolaryngology care to my future patients that covers the entire breadth of pathology covered within the specialty. I have a preliminary interest in rhinology and skull base surgery but will see how my interests further develop as I move through residency. Specifically, I aim to return to Eastern Washington after completing my medical training to provide otolaryngology care in this region.
