About Me

I grew up in the small town of South Bend, WA. My father was a physical therapist there and was my inspiration for pursuing a career in medicine. Like my father, in my career as an orthopedic surgeon I hope to preserve function and reduce pain for my future patients. I spend the majority of my free time with my family. I have a 2-year-old daughter, Reagan, and a newborn baby boy, Riley. When Reagan is not actively destroying the house, we take our dog Waffle to the park and spend time with family and friends. My wife and I are both WSU Cougar football fans and enjoy exercising.

My medical school journey

The creation of the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine allowed my family to stay in our home state and for my extended family to be around for the birth of both my children and be involved in the first years of their lives,” says Geiger.
