Internal Medicine/Pediatrics, Loma Linda University

About Me

I am from Everett, WA. I developed an interest in medicine as a young child and cultivated my interest through volunteerism at Providence Everett Medical Center in high school. I attended the University of Washington for my undergraduate education and earned a double major in biochemistry and medical anthropology/global health so I could develop a strong science background and learn about the sociocultural aspects of health. After graduation, I worked as a medical scribe and volunteered at a free primary care clinic serving vulnerable communities in Seattle.

My medical school journey

I chose WSU for my medical education due to its focus on underserved communities and innovative approaches to medical education,” says Dickinson.

During my third year clerkship, I was able to return to my hometown and learn medicine at the hospital I volunteered at in high school.

What’s Next

For my residency, I have chosen to pursue combined internal medicine and pediatrics training. I am thrilled to continue my education at Loma Linda University Health. Afterward, I plan to return to Washington and serve my community.
