Associate Dean of Clinical Education: Dr. Larry Schecter

Dr. Grossman, a Syracuse native who comes to ESFCOM from Ohio as the Assistant Dean for Leaning Communities. He completed his medical training in New York, residency – board certification in Family Medicine, Academic Fellowships in Education and Leadership before practicing Family Medicine for 20 years. He then served as Director of Career Development at Florida State University COM, followed by becoming the Director of two Hospice and Palliative Care programs in Ohio.

Spokane

Associate Dean of Clinical Education: Dr. Dawn Elise DeWitt
Mentor: Dr. Kimberly Morris
Co-Mentors: Kelly Kiki, Randi Wasik, Leila Harrison
Dr. Morris relocated to the area four years ago from Asheville, N.C. She currently works at the Mann-Grandstaff V.A. Hospital in Spokane and is the Chief of Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and Extended Care.

Tri-Cities

Associate Dean of Clinical Education: Dr. Farion Williams
Mentor: Dr. Tom Heston
Co-Mentors: Jim Morris, Jessica Gerdes, Chelsea Fogle
Dr. Heston grew up in Spokane and graduate with a degree in music from the University of Washington. He then got into a graduated medical school and became Board Certified in family medicine and nuclear medicine.

Vancouver

Associate Dean of Clinical Education: Dr. Kevin Murray
Mentor: Dr. Bonnie Davis
Co-Mentors: Erika Fleck, Dr. Rajeev Rajendra, Kyle Holbrook
Dr. Davis has been a family practice doctor for Lourdes Health Network in Pasco, Wash. for the past three years. Prior to that, she worked at a rural government hospital in South Africa for two years. She treated HIV and started a multi-drug-resistant TB program in her hospital.
