Applying for Financial Aid <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A variety of funding options<\/a> are available to finance your medical education. To be eligible to apply for financial aid at Washington State University, you must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form at the Federal Student Aid website<\/a>. Please complete the FAFSA by the priority date of January 31 of your matriculation year to maximize your eligibility for financial aid and scholarships. The Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine uses Washington State University\u2019s FAFSA school code, which is\u202f003800<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n

Financial Education and Scholarships <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our goal at the WSU College of Medicine is to provide knowledge and resources to help you achieve your goals. We work with students to develop budgets through one-on-one meetings and provide additional financial education via group workshops. College of Medicine scholarship awards are based on financial need and alignment with the college\u2019s mission. You must submit a FAFSA form to be eligible for award offers. A FAFSA is required for any accepted applicant in the incoming class to receive a scholarship award offer, and the deadline to submit a FAFSA is January 31 of the matriculation year. While not required, enrolled medical students may submit a FAFSA by November 30 in subsequent years if their financial situation changes or if they missed the deadline in the prior year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
