How Often Can I Speak with a Medical School Advisor?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our team advises specifically for our Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine MD program. It is recommended that you reach out early in your college career or other pathway when you realize you are interested in pursuing a career in medicine or as soon as you decide to change careers and pursue medicine. Our advisors are here to help you understand the application process, to guide you on what activities you should be engaged in, and to provide guidance on the attributes and experiences that are mission-aligned with our program. You are also welcome to speak to our advisors as often as is needed to prepare to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How Do I Schedule an Appointment?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Select the button next to one of our medical school advisors to schedule an appointment time that is convenient for you. Appointments will take place using the Zoom<\/a> platform.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to being a general medical school advisor, Keith oversees the application and interview processes. Keith is also involved in our Honors College Pathway program and can advise those interested in applying for the pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to being a general medical school advisor, as a retired veteran, Lynn has experience advising those who have prior military service and are interested in pursuing medicine. She is able to help them translate their military experiences into a medical school application. Lynn is also involved in our Honors College Pathway program and can advise those interested in the pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to being a general medical school advisor, Rachel is also well-versed in our residency and pre-requisites requirements. Rachel also provides support to matriculated students as they begin career exploration in their first year of medical school.<\/p>\n\n\n

In addition to being a general medical school advisor, Mariah has experience working with those who have participated in Running Start programs and who have completed Advance Placement coursework and how they translate to medical school applications.<\/p>\n\n\n
