College research ties in with WSU’s rural suicide focus

The suicide rate in rural America is higher than in urban America. WSU is working towards new approaches to suicide prevention. Among these approaches is a pilot program led by assistant professor, Oladunni Oluwoye, PhD.

“The more I’ve engaged in this work, the more opportunities I’ve had to speak with families about their pathways to get into mental health services,” Oluwoye said. “But there’s so much more to do.”
