Range Community Clinic

The Inlander highlights Range Community Clinic in their piece, “With a roaming community clinic, WSU brings the family doctor directly to rural communities.”

In some rural area the nearest doctor can be over an hour away. Thankfully the mobile medical unit is closing those gaps. Alongside the College of Medicine, College of Nursing students are also treating patients and working to conduct interviews to involve more pharmacies and doctors.

“The vision of WSU is to build this network of health care, where we are actually a part of the community and people can rely on us and trust us that we’re going to be there,” said the clinic’s program director Sam Schneider. (Pictured on the right).
