A WSU Health Sciences Podcast
“Finding Joy” is a podcast focused on the well-being of health care professionals. Each episode features an individual practitioner’s take on being at their best while working in the health care field even during difficult times.
“Finding Joy” includes medical students from WSU Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and the practicing physicians who are teaching them. Funding for the creation of this podcast has been provided by a U.S. Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) grant.

Interprofessional Team-based Opioid Education Program
The podcast is produced in part by the Interprofessional Team-based Opioid Education Program, which provides educational materials for a team-based training designed for health profession students and/or primary care practice teams that care for patients who take and/or potentially misuse opioids.
The trainings available through this project were developed initially as a collaboration among faculty at Washington State University. Initial development of the student-focused curriculum was supported by the Washington State Department of Health including funding from the Prevention for States (Pfs) Grant 5 NU17CE002734 through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Current funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration (grant T0BHP33106) has allowed for continued expansion of this interprofessional curriculum. The contents of this curriculum are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the Department of Health and Human Services.
