Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\nThe final session of the evidence synthesis series will discuss key steps for data extraction, analysis, and synthesis, quality and bias assessment, and review reporting and dissemination. The authors will use their experience in completing and publishing systematic and scoping reviews to highlight best practices and pitfalls in assembling and publishing an evidence synthesis (review).<\/p>\n

Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\nParticipants will be able to:<\/p>\n
\n- Compare and contrast data extraction for systematic reviews and scoping reviews<\/li>\n
- Discuss strategic differences when reporting results for different review types (tables and narrative summaries<\/li>\n
- Provide an overview of quality and bias assessment resources for scholars\/researchers conducting evidence synthesis<\/li>\n
- Describe approaches to data synthesis and writing the results and discussion sections of reviews<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
