By previewing the Emotional Intelligence course, speakers will share some of the compelling reasons for building and sustaining personal and organizational emotional intelligence. They&#8217;ll share a foundational model for understanding how to cultivate greater levels of mindfulness and EQ and invite you to consider the impact that high (or low) emotional intelligence has on organizational health and results.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h4><a href=\"https:\/\/wsu.zoom.us\/webinar\/register\/WN_YRWC8sBxRpucslitIiRwOQ#\/registration\">Register<\/a><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Presented by<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Trymaine Gaither<\/strong><br \/>\nTrymaine Gaither is Special Assistant to the Provost for Inclusive Excellence and the Interim Director of Community and Public Affairs for Washington State University. Trymaine Gaither is also a Certified MBSR Teacher and Trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kathleen Stinnett<\/strong><br \/>\nKathleen is a Master Certified Coach, author, and consultant who specializes in driving greater levels of performance and fulfillment, working with individuals, leaders, and teams. She founded FutureLaunch in 2000 and focuses on leadership development and organizational effectiveness across a myriad of organizations. She will be co-teaching the course on Emotional Intelligence in the Foundations of Leadership certificate.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lawrence Schecter<\/strong>, MD, FACS<br \/>\nDr. Schecter is Special Advisor to the Dean at the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine at WSU and most recently served as Associate Dean for the Everett Campus of the College of Medicine. He was a practicing general surgeon for 30 years and worked as a health care executive in hospitals and healthcare systems, serving as a Chief Medical Officer over 15 years.
