Allen School for Global Health at Washington State University (WSU). She holds a PhD in Immunology and Infectious Diseases from WSU, and a master\u2019s degree in Public Health from the University of Leeds in the UK. She has extensive experience in the field of infectious diseases and public health, having spent the last 15 years working on diagnosis and surveillance of infectious diseases and outbreak response. Over the course of her career, she has helped establish and support diagnostic capacity for infectious diseases in several countries in sub-Saharan Africa, including Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and Nigeria. Dr. Omulo runs the Antimicrobial Resistance in Communities and Hospitals (ARCH) research project in Kenya.
