Skinner, PhD, Eastlick Distinguished Professor, Founding Director of the Center for Reproductive Biology, School of Biological Sciences, Washington State University Pullman \u2013 will be visiting WSU Spokane for the Department of Translational Medicine &amp; Physiology Seminar Series.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Environmental epigenetics is essential for the control of genetics and gene expression, as well as what you inherited from your ancestors. Therefore alterations in normal epigenetic programming now appears to be one of the main factors in biology, evolution and disease etiology. We have developed epigenetic biomarkers for many diseases, including male infertility, preterm birth, preeclampsia, arthritis and autism. These disease specific epigenetic biomarkers can now be used in preventative medicine for these pathologies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Questions\/Zoom link?
