This grant recognizes our health equity work and will advance the college&#8217;s health equity circle team and its initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Grant summary<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Genentech and Genentech Foundation\u2019s 2022 Health Equity and Diversity in STEM Innovation Fund will award&nbsp;<strong>over $12M in grant funding<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Innovation Fund is a&nbsp;<strong>biennial, competitive process<\/strong>&nbsp;focused on funding organizations and initiatives led by people of color.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Since 2019, the Innovation Fund has received 443 applicants and awarded 61 grants. Genentech has&nbsp;<strong>invested $21M<\/strong>.
