The Office of Faculty Development and Continuing Education is excited to launch the first College of Medicine Educator Academy for the 2023-24 academic year.<\/p>\n

What is this new academy?<\/strong>
\nThe Educator Academy (EA) is designed to create a community of practice among both faculty and staff who identify as educators in a Plan-Learn-Reflect-Respond cohort model.<\/p>\n

Who is the EA for?<\/strong>
\nThe EA is for any faculty or staff member at the college who self-identifies as an educator, is interested in skill-building, and is motivated to help elevate the overall educational experience at the college.<\/p>\n

How will the cohort be chosen?<\/strong>
\nWe have an enthusiastic advisory group of faculty and staff who will help to select our first cohort. This first cohort will provide feedback that informs how we grow and build the academy over the coming years.<\/p>\n
