{"id":27337,"date":"2023-04-07T09:54:17","date_gmt":"2023-04-07T16:54:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/news\/?p=27337"},"modified":"2025-10-30T10:51:33","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T17:51:33","slug":"cme-provisional-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/news\/2023\/04\/07\/cme-provisional-accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"CME provisional accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Continuing Medical Education program received Provisional Accreditation effective on March 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Provisional Accreditation is a two-year term awarded to initial applicants that demonstrate compliance with the ACCME\u2019s core accreditation criteria: Mission, Educational Needs, Designed to Change, Analyzes Change, and Program Analysis. The ACCME reached this decision following the September 2022 site visit. The next ACCME decision is anticipated in spring 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is an exciting next step for continuing education at WSU and for health professionals throughout our region.
