{"id":27541,"date":"2023-04-27T11:42:40","date_gmt":"2023-04-27T18:42:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/news\/?p=27541"},"modified":"2023-04-27T11:43:29","modified_gmt":"2023-04-27T18:43:29","slug":"2023-planetary-health-report-card","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/news\/2023\/04\/27\/2023-planetary-health-report-card\/","title":{"rendered":"2023 Planetary Health Report Card"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Earth Day, April 22, the results of the 2023 Planetary Health Report Card (PHRC) were published for the college, along with 104 other health professional training programs.<\/p>\n<p>Each participating school created a report card detailing strengths and areas for growth with regards to five planetary health topics: Curriculum, Interdisciplinary Research, Community Outreach and Advocacy, Support for Student-Led Initiatives, and Campus Sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>The college made improvements in all areas from 2022, and most significantly in Curriculum, due to the collaboration of faculty, staff, and students to implement a new Planetary Health Curriculum. The PHRC also creates a summary report comparing scores from each program.
