It features Lucia Peixoto, PhD, associate professor in the Department of Translational Medicine and Physiology at the WSU College of Medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;It is an honor to be featured alongside many friends and colleagues,&#8221; Peixoto said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peixoto&#8217;s research interests include sleep, development, autism, and transcriptional regulation. Featured scientists were identified through a nomination system.
