Floyd College of Medicine&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wsu_wilderness_medicine\/?g=5\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/wsu_wilderness_medicine\/?g=5\">Wilderness Medicine Interest Group<\/a> put their skills to the test in this year&#8217;s local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medwar.org\">MedWAR<\/a>&nbsp;(Medical Wilderness Adventure Race) in Spokane. This year&#8217;s challenges included responding to a cougar attack, a femoral artery bleed, fallen climbers with head trauma and a broken arm, anaphylaxis, altitude sickness, and a heart attack including CPR.
