Floyd College of Medicine, as Alumna of the Year in recognition of her exceptional contributions to medicine and the broader community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Rue graduated from the KCU College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2004. In the past two decades, her accomplishments include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Advocate for the profession representing Washington family physicians at the AAFP Congress of Delegates and serving as chair of the Assembly of Osteopathic Graduate Medical Educators<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>First osteopathic physician to serve as president of the Washington State Medical Association<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clinical faculty at all three Washington medical schools and former program director for family medicine and osteopathic education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Actively involved on local, state, and regional boards advancing health equity and mentoring emerging leaders in health care<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please join us in congratulating Dr. Rue for her contributions to family medicine in Washington and beyond!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> Kansas City University has recognized Katina Rue, DO, FAAFP, a community faculty member in the WSU Elson S.
