Floyd College of Medicine&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/gme\/im-everett\/\">internal medicine residency program<\/a> in Everett have matched into fellowships to pursue subspecialty training in their chosen fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following third-year residents matched into fellowships this month:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Bhav Kahlon, MBBS, Gastroenterology Fellowship Program, University of Kansas School of Medicine (Kansas City, KS)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cameron Richards, DO, Rheumatology Fellowship, Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (Seattle, WA)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spencer Hassman, DO, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship, University of Arizona College of Medicine&nbsp;\u2013 Tucson (Tucson, AZ)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>From the program&#8217;s inaugural class, Sujan Badal, MD, is currently completing a fellowship in hematology, oncology, and transplantation at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the program&#8217;s graduates to date, 14 are currently practicing in Washington, filling critical gaps in Washington&#8217;s physician workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congratulations to these outstanding physicians on their fellowship matches and to their peers practicing in rural and underserved communities statewide on their commitment to advancing access to care across Washington!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p> Multiple residents in the WSU Elson S.
