Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine and Spokane Public Schools (SPS) are partnering to create the Logan Family Clinic, a new community-based primary care clinic located inside Logan Elementary School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Open since March 2, the clinic is intended to increase community access to health care by delivering services right where young people and their families need them most\u2014in our public schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWith the Logan Family Clinic, we\u2019re making quality health care easier to reach and closer to home,\u201d said WSU President Betsy Cantwell. \u201cPartnering with Spokane Public Schools allows us to serve families right in their neighborhood, marking an important milestone for WSU and the communities we\u2019re here to support.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The clinic will be operated by WSU Health<\/a>, the university\u2019s new academic health network that integrates clinical care, student training, and research across the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. The clinic marks WSU\u2019s first university-operated, off-campus health clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n WSU Health offers health care services for WSU students, employees, and the wider community, including comprehensive primary care.
