are advancing our mission through leadership, innovation, and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;deadline to submit a nomination is March 23, 2026. <a href=\"https:\/\/spokane.wsu.edu\/excellence-awards\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=ctct\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/spokane.wsu.edu\/excellence-awards\/?utm_medium=email&amp;utm_source=ctct\">Submit a nomination<\/a> online in one of the below categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership Awards:&nbsp;Recognizes students for their leadership and academic contributions to WSU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Community Engagement Award: Recognizes a student who demonstrates meaningful impact in our communities through service-learning, philanthropy, and\/or project-based initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legacy Award:&nbsp;Recognizes a graduating student whose influence and activities throughout their college career have had a lasting, positive impact at WSU.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Faculty<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Excellence in Interprofessional Education:&nbsp;Recognizes a faculty member who demonstrates leadership in interprofessional education and\/or scholarship in collaborative teamwork that advances the health of individuals and communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellence in Research:&nbsp;Recognizes a faculty member who shows innovation and impact in research and scholarship, while mentoring faculty and students as future researchers to improve community health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellence in Service:&nbsp;Recognizes a faculty member who exemplifies meaningful service to the college, campus, university, or community.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellence in Teaching:&nbsp;Recognizes a faculty member who demonstrates excellence in teaching and mentorship of students as future healthcare professionals or researchers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Staff<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Administrative Professional Award:&nbsp;Recognizes an administrative professional employee who consistently goes above and beyond their defined responsibilities to advance the mission of the university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Classified\/Civil Service Award:&nbsp;Recognizes a civil service\/classified employee who demonstrates initiative, innovation, and service-minded leadership.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wsu-spacing-after--xsmall\">Award recipients will be recognized at a reception on April 29, 2026, at WSU Spokane.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-cta
