Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine Vice Chair for Internal Medicine and Associate Professor of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences Lonika Sood, MBBS, MHPE, FACP, will help shape medical education in the U.S. and beyond through appointments to key editorial boards in medical education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Sood has been appointed an associate editor of MedEdPORTAL<\/a><\/em>, an open access journal published by the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) that shares health professions teaching and learning resources for an international audience of educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMedEdPORTAL publications have been instrumental for me and many educators to supplement our curricula at a new medical school,\u201d Dr. Sood said. \u201cI am impressed with the quality and level of innovation of materials that have been published.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dr. Sood will also serve as deputy editor of Teaching and Learning in Medicine<\/a><\/em>, an international journal for scholarship on teaching and learning in medicine and the health professions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
