Floyd College of Medicine, was awarded an annual scholarship of $10,000 by the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) and National Medical Fellowships (NMF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program aims to support aspiring physicians with demonstrated financial need and a strong history of service, according to the NBME. Twenty students are selected annually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Until you&#8217;re actually on this journey of becoming a physician, it&#8217;s hard to fully appreciate how much it will change your perspective on the joys and pains of medicine,&#8221; said Peter J.
