Washington State University Provost T. Chris Riley-Tillman recognized several Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine staff in his office’s latest Cougar Kudos. The recognition celebrates students, faculty, and staff who go above and beyond in support of the university and its mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Laura Bacon<\/strong>, department administrator for the Department of Medical Education and Clinical Sciences, was recognized for beingconsistent, engaged, collaborative, and professional. She works incredibly hard and makes it look effortless. A go-to person for so many, Laura is a constant source of support for the college and embodies the \u201cGo Cougs\u201d spirit. Even amid significant change within the college and department, she remains a model of consistency and a calm presence in the midst of change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Associate Director for Faculty Development Erin Van Antwerp<\/strong>, MHA, was recognized for being an empathetic leader who is exceptionally organized and dedicated to bringing high-quality faculty development to all parts of the WSU College of Medicine throughout the state. She is known as an advocate for her team and for her outside-the-box, strategic thinking, especially on college-wide priorities such as digital accessibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Erika Willy<\/strong>, manager in the Office of Curriculum, was recognized as a respected leader who knows the ins and outs of the MD curriculum like few others.
