Floyd College of Medicine graduate Kyanna Cusick, MD (&#8217;24), is already paying it forward as a second-year diagnostic radiology resident at the Mayo Clinic in Arizona by mentoring WSU medical students during away rotations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fourth-year MD students Nathan Savolainen and Lauren Lee recently completed radiology rotations at Mayo with support from Dr. Cusick. Savolainen completed an interventional radiology elective and Lee completed a diagnostic radiology elective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you, Dr. Cusick, for mentoring the next generation of radiologists and continuing our tradition of Cougs helping Cougs!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Elson S.
