Admissions Requirements
Eligible applicants to the BS NEP program must have:
- A cumulative GPA of 2.7
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the BS NEP prerequisite courses.
- No grade lower than a C in any individual prerequisite course.
BS NEP Prerequisites
The following prerequisite courses are required. As a general rule, all prerequisite coursework should be no more than seven years old at the time of application. Worksheets showing equivalent courses at a variety of community colleges and universities are available by contacting our Academic Coordinator at nep@wsu.edu.

Application
The BS NEP program starts in Fall semester only. The application deadline is always January 31.
WSU students must fill out the supplemental BS NEP application to transfer to the Spokane campus. Click on the link below and use the ‘current student’ login on the left side of the page. You do not need to send transcripts. We can use your existing electronic records.
Non-WSU students must submit a WSU Spokane application, and the supplemental BS NEP application. Transfer students must submit both the WSU Spokane application and the Supplemental BS NEP application. Click on the link below and use the ‘create account’ option on the right side of the page
Admissions Timeline
Applicants will be notified of admission status in March. An interview may be offered to candidates who do not meet GPA or course requirements, but whose experience, recommendations, or other circumstances suggest they could be successful in the BS NEP program.
