Nutrition and Exercise Physiology

MS CPD Prerequisites and Curriculum

Applicants to the MS Coordinated Program in Dietetics (MS CPD) must hold a bachelor’s degree that satisfies one of the following prerequisite options:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from WSU
  • Bachelor of Science in exercise science/physiology from another university
  • Bachelor of Science in human nutrition/dietetics from another university

In addition to one of the above mentioned BS degrees, the following prerequisite undergraduate college courses are required:

  • Chemistry I & II
  • Organic Chemistry I
  • Biology I & II
  • Microbiology
  • Biochemistry
  • Human Anatomy
  • Human Physiology
  • Human Nutrition for Health Professionals
  • Psychology
  • Ethics
  • Statistics
  • Public Speaking

Core Nutrition Courses

Students who are accepted to the MS CPD with a BS in exercise science/physiology will be required to take these core undergraduate nutrition courses alongside the graduate curriculum.
