In this framework, all are responsible for helping to foster and sustain an inclusive culture. Please access the <a href=\"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/md\/policies\/health-equity\/\">resources<\/a> available at the college to learn more about what is available for NEP students.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-color-background--gray-5 wsu-row--halves\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scholarships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Departmental scholarships are available to NEP students in all degree programs. The funds range from $250-$1,000 per year. Applications are due toward the end of the spring semester each year. Awards are made in July. Additional monies are available to undergraduate and graduate students through WSU and outside agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>NEP Scholarship Application&nbsp;forms will be sent to all eligible students in Spring semester<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/financialaid.wsu.edu\/scholarships\/\">Scholarship database<\/a>&nbsp;vetted by WSU Student Financial Services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/gradschool.wsu.edu\/scholarships-fellowships-awards\/\">WSU Graduate School Funding Opportunities<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.fic.nih.gov\/Funding\/NonNIH\/Pages\/predoctoral-graduate.aspx\">Funding for Predoctoral and Graduate Researchers<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column wsu-color-background--gray-5\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Additional Scholarship Opportunities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These scholarship opportunities are from the Philanthropy Northwest network of philanthropic organizations across Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, and Hawaii.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/medicine.wsu.edu\/nutrition-exercise-physiology\/student-resources\/scholarship-opportunities\/\">Scholarship Opportunities<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-color-background--gray-5 wsu-row--halves\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column wsu-color-background--gray-5\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reduced Tuition Opportunity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents of certain western states and territories, who are accepted to the&nbsp;<strong>MS CPD, <\/strong>are eligible for significantly reduced tuition through the <a href=\"https:\/\/gradschool.wsu.edu\/wiche\/\">Western Regional Graduate Program<\/a>. Rather than pay out-of-state costs, tuition is assessed at or near the cost of resident tuition. This typically saves about $7,000 per semester. If admitted to the MS CPD, students will work with the NEP Academic Coordinator to receive the tuition reduction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assistantships<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PhD NEP<\/strong>&nbsp;students are eligible for teaching assistantships. Work includes being a TA in the undergraduate nutrition and exercise labs. Details about the positions will be discussed with individual students during the application and admissions process.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<figure
