Teaching

Dr. Carl Heine is responsible for teaching the physiology thread through the foundational systems courses and participates in teaching in the Art and Practice of Medicine course.

Additional Information

Dr. Heine is a practicing emergency medicine physician with special interests in wilderness medicine, health care policy, environmental issues affecting health, and medical ethics. Prior to medical school Dr. Heine taught anatomy & physiology and medical physiology at the University of Montana and had worked in the field of comparative biomechanics.
