Additional Information

Christiane Dechert has been a speech-language pathologist since 1997 and a clinical educator for 17 years before joining the WSU Department of Speech and Hearing as Clinic Coordinator in 2017. She has experience working in elementary, middle, and high school, preschool, and long-term care settings. Her current areas of clinical interests are school-age language, language and literacy, autism, narrative and expository language intervention, reading and writing disorders, bilingualism and multicultural issues, global service projects, and childhood speech sound disorders.
