Biography

What inspired you to pursue medicine?
Initially interested in biomedical engineering, I worked as a dialysis technician in college, a position which allowed me to form close relationships with patients as I spent time with them multiple times a week during their dialysis sessions. This experience led me to pursue medicine as I realized that I was drawn to the raw, meaningful human connections made in the field of medicine. I feel privileged to directly care for the members of my community.

What are your passions and hobbies outside of work?
Food, pressure cooking, podcasting, event planning and exploring the outdoors with my husband and two kids, Ollie and Audrey.

What would you do if you hadn’t pursued medicine?
Perhaps I would be a high school teacher.
