Courses Taught

Julie teaches a variety of classes in the Nutrition and Exercise Physiology program including:

  • Strength Training and Conditioning
  • Essentials of Food Preparation for Health Sciences
  • Nutrition Assessment and Lifestyle Counseling
  • Applied Pathophysiology
  • Human Health Behavior and Behavioral Interventions
  • Nutrition and Exercise Practicum I and II, Internship Seminar, and Internship

She also previously taught Vitamin and Mineral Metabolism, Nutrition and Exercise throughout the Lifecycle, ECGs/Medications/Procedures, and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation.

Additional Information

Julie had enjoyed serving on the Greater Spokane Dietetics Association board for several years and is currently the president. She is also a Health Promotion Clinical Director for Special Olympics Washington.
