Dr. Katie (as she’s known by her young patients) joined WSU in early 2022. Since 2015 she has been a pediatrician at Palouse Pediatrics, which has offices in Pullman, Washington, and Moscow, Idaho.
An avid reader, Dr. Katie’s happy place is anywhere she can be curled up with a mug of coffee and a good book. In the summer she spends her weekends escaping to the lake with her family. She is a dedicated dance mom, soccer mom, and overall fun mom who is always mindful of the balance necessary to be a good physician and parent.
She is a long-time Huskies fan who is resistant to all the crimson and gray that keeps creeping into
her wardrobe. She is skilled at using social media to promote wellness and share medical knowledge. Dr. Katie was Pullman Regional Hospital’s chief of staff in 2020, leading the hospital’s COVID response, and she currently serves on the medical executive committee.
