The Speech and Hearing Sciences post-baccalaureate program is a specialized one-year course sequence designed for nontraditional and returning students. It allows a student with a bachelor’s degree in another field to prepare for entry to a master’s degree program in speech-language pathology. The curriculum for the program is taught at WSU Spokane.
Applicants to the SHS post-baccalaureate program must have a bachelor’s degree and have taken or be currently enrolled in the following prerequisite undergraduate college courses before officially joining the post-baccalaureate program.
- Biology 106 (L) or Biology 102 (L)
- Chemistry 101 (L) or Physics 101 (L)
- Psychology 105
- Stats/Math 212
The application for admission is submitted online through the WSU Graduate School. The process requires the application and transcripts. There is an application fee. Deadline is January 10 for fall semester enrollment.
