Speech and Hearing Sciences: Undergraduate Application

The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences admits for fall semester only.

Since application fees are nonrefundable, please check with WSU Spokane Admissions (509-358-7531) before you apply if you’re unsure about which semester or application form to use.

INCOMING FRESHMEN

Incoming freshmen should apply to Washington State University.* The Program in Speech and Hearing Sciences in Spokane is a bachelor-completion program. Incoming freshmen will apply to the Pullman campus and complete their first two years of undergraduate coursework there.

*If you are currently a WSU Pullman student, it is not necessary to reapply to WSU.

ALL OTHER STUDENTS

Apply to the program in Speech and Hearing Sciences. Online applications are preferred, but PDF files are available for download and printing if necessary.

1. Transfer/Postbaccalaureate Students

Use this application if you have attended college since graduating from high school.

Postbaccalaureate students use this application if you already have a bachelor’s degree and will be earning an additional undergraduate degree or certification, or are taking courses in preparation for a graduate degree. If you have graduated from WSU within the last year, you do not need to reapply. Please contact the department.

2. International Students

Use this application if you are not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States. Undergraduate only.

3. Former WSU Students

Use this application if you previously enrolled at any WSU campus and have been away for more than one semester. (If you were not in good academic standing your last semester at WSU, you may need to be reinstated.)

4. Non-Degree-Seeking Students

Use this application if you don’t intend to complete a degree at WSU and will be taking courses for personal enrichment, to transfer to another college, or for a teaching endorsement.

APPLICATION DEADLINES FOR 2016-2017

The Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences follows the application deadlines as determined by WSU Admissions. To secure your admission to the program, you should have your application in by these deadlines to ensure consideration.
