Camp Candoo is an intensive speech therapy and early literacy summer camp for children ages 5-7 with childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) or other severe speech sound disorders held at the WSU Spokane campus.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n\n

What We Do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The seven-day camp offers excellent research-based clinical teaching and training led by experts in the Department of Speech and Hearing Sciences in partnership with WSU Health. Therapy will be provided by graduate-level clinicians who are supervised by certified speech-language pathologists who have extensive experience in childhood motor speech disorders, language, and early literacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camp includes an assessment on the first day followed by seven days of individual and group therapy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
