Dr. Siddiqi is a health services researcher in the area of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). His research focus is HIV prevention and care among high-priority populations, including people with substance use disorders and health-related social needs, people of color, and sexual and gender minorities. His current research is to develop and implement effective HIV risk screening and care linkage tools to promote HIV prevention services and reduce new HIV infections among people with opioid use disorder. He is an affiliated faculty member at the PRISM Collaborative (Promoting Research Initiatives in Substance Use and Mental Health) and the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health at Washington State University.
