Faculty Affairs oversees the development, revision, and implementation of policies, processes, and guidelines that affect the faculty across paid and non-paid tracks.
The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Continuing Professional Development and the Assistant Dean for Faculty Affairs serve as principal liaisons for faculty matters with the dean, senior College leadership, and the Office of the Provost. Faculty Affairs supports and advocates for faculty and their professional advancement, ensures faculty and their department chairs are aware institutional policies, procedures, and best practices for academic advancement (including annual review, tenure, and promotion), and serve as an impartial resource and mentor available to college faculty to explore opportunities, discuss concerns, and provide and identify resources.
